Less chaos. More life!

I’m overwhelmed by the number of personal and work emails I receive every day. I can’t keep up with all the technology changes and options for my cell phone, my computer, the internet, and cable TV. I know I should be more active on Facebook, Twitter, and Linked-In, but I can’t see how I can fit that in when I already can’t keep up with the daily emails, voice mails, and snail mail I need to respond to now! I also look around my house and see the clutter in my garage, my basement, and in closets and drawers where I spend far too much time looking for things and then organizing and re-organizing things, much of which I rarely or never use. 

I dream about spending time in a cabin in the woods without technology.  I picture myself sitting in a comfortable chair with a cup of my favorite coffee, reading the books I’ve never had time to read, discussing the deeper things in life withe people I love to be around, and taking an occasional stroll in the woods.  But  that is not a practical lifestyle choice for me right now. For now, my struggle is how to better manage and control all of the demands on my time and attention instead of having them control me.  Life is too short to waste time on things that don’t matter and worse yet, to NOT focus on the people and things  that do.

I know I need help with all of this, and I know almost everyone I talk with wants to simply their life and so my entrepreneurial side kicks in and I think, “Why not pull together some resources to help people like myself?” I’ve owned my own management consulting and training business for over 20 years and my passion has always been to equip people and organizations with the ability to better achieve their mission. I know that there are books, technology tools, short cuts, etc that could help clear the way for individuals and organizations to simplify and better focus on their mission, and I wanted to bring those together in one place in a way that made these resources simple to access.

That’s where Luke Wilson comes in. He’s living the simplified life and has amazing skills to help bring these resources to Simplifi.de He has been working with my company in the area of technology and administrative support including website design and office optimization and has a natural gifting and passion for simplifying. I have learned so much from him and I know his contribution will be extremely valuable for you too.
